Actually, if interviewers ask this question, they will almost always ask about your motivation for commercial law rather than just law (precisely because they do not want generic reasons). Talking about international deals
This is true. Even if they are aware of the deal, it is unlikely a firm will question why you are choosing a deal with a lack of London involvement. And on the off chance they do, you can explain that there are other reasons you are interested in the firm.- Jaysen
