Not sure if this is true - the three MC firms I worked for all took career changers on regularly - there would always be people in their late 20s/30s in each intake.
However, they were all strict on the requirements of what stage of your academics you had to be in for vac schemes, which led to...
I would explain this briefly to Grad Rec. Explain you’d like to withdraw from another firm’s process but you are reluctant to do this until you have a written offer, and therefore is their any chance your written offer could be sent this week.
Grad Rec in banking is exceptionally different to law. There maybe firms using AI to check whether applications have been made using AI, but it is far less likely that law firms will be using it as a screening tool (for a whole host of reasons). The banks are different given their volume and...
I think if your own analysis identifies your written output could have been stronger in one instance, then don’t be afraid to highlight this.
1) it sounds like other written work was okay, so clearly it is not a consistent issue
2) as you have highlighted you feel you have learned from your...
If only slightly cut off, then I don’t think this is an issue. For instance if you had made your points and was just wrapping up the answer and got cut off, this would be very different to being cut off at less than half way through your answer.

The question could be that if you have worked in the industry for this long, whether you need a training contract.
Your length of experience is exceptionally rare.
Many would wonder why 1) you haven’t qualified before now and 2) why you couldn’t qualify much more quickly via the SQE with your...
it sounds like you have already contacted them about this - if so, I wouldn’t necessarily chase them via email again. Alternatives are to try and call them or maybe connect with their trainees working in the region to see if they know.
Here are some articles that might be worth a read to consider the answer to this question. I would make sure your answer is more tailored to the type of firm you are applying to though:

I recommend people create a new thread in the general discussions section of the forum if they want to keep on the diversity conversation. This thread is continually being taken off on a tangent and it stops the thread's purpose, which is for people to discuss application and recruitment...
Just to stress this question is asking for multiple skills but one experience that highlights those multiple skills.
But a STAR format would be the best approach to this question because it is asking for one past example. You don’t have to explain how the skills will help you as a lawyer though...
