They have had this for a long time - it’s where their application system is used for other vacancies. You don’t need to add a CV, it will never be reviewed even if you do.
Removing an entry on LinkedIn won’t notify anyone but adding one will.
There is no etiquette here though - you just need to update your profile. Both the old firm and the new firm won’t care about this in all honesty.
If you don’t want people to see the changes you can change your visibility...
Most city law firms will have a 2.1 requirement, and so you won’t meet that until your have your January deferred result, which will be after most firms have closed their applications.
You may find a small number of other opportunities in the legal sector that don’t require a 2.1 though, and so...
Where you say your grades were impacted because you were making so many applications, then my advice would be to focus on getting your grades back up and then apply next year. Otherwise I think you risk repeating the same pattern.
There is a list in this LinkedIn post - https://www.linkedin.com/posts/global-access-npo_it-is-application-season-but-prior-to-embarking-activity-6987684313278357504-ZafW?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

I have never utilised a firm so I can’t advise on who might be good to speak to. However, you can potentially reach out to the authors of these articles to see if they can either provide guidance...
If it’s anything like the SRA process, unless there is nothing recorded by your previous university, then you’d still need to declare the plagiarism issue - there isn’t a time limit on these things.
Even if the debt was an issue (I don’t think it is where it is effectively managed through a...
As what you can learn from it can be transferred across recruitment cycles, I would say that subscribing 2 months or before you want to start applying to opportunities would be a good idea. Depending on which level of subscription you go for, this gives you time to get through some of the...
Most likely they will make more offers - but it really depends on what their threshold is. Very few firms will recruit a specific number of trainees - they can typically be 10-15% under or over (unless the intake is very small).
They may also just decide to wait until next year’s vacation...
It will be considered a proof reading error - if there are other errors then collectively that might be enough for the firm to say no but it really depends on what the other errors might be and also the strength of the rest of your form.
