I don’t recommend submitting the same cover letter. It should always be updated and refined where possible, and particularly highlight what has changed since your last application (otherwise the firm will just assume the same outcome as last time).
Did you start the GDL before January 2022? If not, you won’t be eligible to take the LPC route.

It isn’t really about the example, it’s about the evidence within it. For instance, did you pick up errors in that DD report that no one else did? How many pages were the DD report/how complex was the information?
The answer wouldn’t be strong if you just said you read a three page DD report...
If this is for an application/interview, I would personally recommend thinking about what the firm you are applying to considers a good leader.
I am sure Jaysen will have his own view on this, but it might not be what the firm you are considering thinks.
Then there really won’t need to be duplication with submitting a CV if the expectations is to include them in a free text box.

The WG is a pretty unique assessment as it assesses a particular set of verbal comprehension.
I suspect this will be a wider range of aptitude testing because Thrive utilise multiple assessments usually - you can find the different types of assessments they do here...
There might not be any repercussions academically if you have passed all of the LPC elements.
However, if it’s a sponsored course, the firm you have your TC with could consider the failing the LLM as part of the course they have sponsored and so there could be repercussions with your TC offer.

This is very normal with paralegal roles. It is fine to contact your HR contact back and ask if there is an update on your application though, especially given its now been a couple of weeks.
Yes - I would mention it as it is important to account for the time you have dedicated to it.
It will also be important to explain why you have either now decided to pursue a career in England/Wales, rather than in Scotland or why you decided to do the diploma anyway, knowing it wouldn’t help...
