What motivated you to pursue a career as a commercial Solicitor? Explain how you would add value as a Trainee in the London office of Akin Gump. (250)
Describe a particularly challenging experience you have faced and the way you dealt with it. (250)

I would normally suggest putting each individual modules result (usually as a percentage) rather than just a 2.1/2.2 etc
If you can update your application, I would try to change the grades to specific scores.
That is only for schemes you have completed though rather than upcoming schemes. You should disclose any internships/vacation schemes completed - it is better to have them on your application than not, even if you didn’t convert them to a TC.
I would include a short reference if you can - I can't see why it would be a disadvantage unless the work was completely different (e.g. in human rights law)
Firms will recruit people with the LPC, but many will expect you to do the SQE (you will just get an exemption from SQE1 but have to sit SQE2).
If this is an absolute dealbreaker for you, then it will limit the number of firms you can apply to. Many firms are not willing to have two sets of...
University brand will not be an issue at MC or SC firms.
There are a whole host of reasons why fewer low-ranked universities are represented in trainee cohorts, but the main reasons are:
A lot of their students won't meet academic requirements, specifically A-level or equivalent grades

Have you used Grammarly, Wordtune or other software before that helps with this? There are quite a few tools that you can use for succinctness that can really help with writing concisely, and many of them have free options.
In all honesty, I don't think any firm has a blanket approach like this - the results are ultimately different and are, therefore likely to be seen as such.
However, there will be firms who care less about academics and who put much more weighting on other evidence in an application -...
My general rule is paragraphs unless you can format bullet points in the application form (like you can do on these forums). However, if it’s just a free text box (with no formatting functionality), use full prose/sentences/paragraphs.
Some firms do invest a lot of time into their recruitment process - for many firms I have worked with that figure/ratio is higher than Jones Day's.
Although it can be seen as time lost that could be billed to clients, the future talent of the organisation is seen as a very important and worth...
That doesn't surprise me - I was being slightly cautious with my maths (although a 4:1 interview to vacancy is quite high IMO, but that could be for a whole host of reasons).
Getting through 300 interviews is tough though - can easily take several months to get through that amount!
I wouldn't worry about it at this stage. If you are invited to the next stage of the process, then contact the firms and make them aware of the last shift date.
I don't think they would be interviewing then if they didn't think they'd still be recruiting.
They have to recruit 70 vac schemers - so this is likely to be somewhere between 120-180 interviews. They also don't close applications for another month, so if anything I think you will be ahead of...
