Apologies to not replying to this earlier - I have been tagged in lots of posts recently and it’s been hard to keep up with them all.
I would contact each firm to check. I would expect most firms to consider you a non-law graduate where you would need to complete some English law modules to get...
There is no need to include examples of how you have demonstrated the skill unless the question explicitly asks.
You just have to be super, super concise with your writing with these type of questions. Typically I find people use a lot of “filler phrases” in their writing, and so you just have...
I’d recommend apply to a mixture of a vacation schemes and TCs. Any firm that recruits exclusively or predominately from vacation schemes will drive your applications towards those programmes rather than direct TCs. However, for some firms you may find you might not be eligible for their...
There are quite a few firms that will have compulsory corporate seats - so I don’t think you have to focus on it being unique to other firms, I think you can just focus on your motivation for corporate work.
I think it’s more appropriate to find a market rate for it - unless it’s outside of London or for a non-commercial firm, £18k will be very low - isn’t even Living Wage equivalent.
The figure should be an annual salary equivalent - you don’t need to half it just because it is six months.

For many firms, they wouldn’t take on a non-law applicant for a vacation scheme until their final year anyway, so I feel like you are still at the early stages of considering this career path.
I would apply for vacation schemes to those firms you are eligible for, and apply to direct TCs with...
Yes - they will care a lot of about any work experience. Doesn’t matter what it is really - if anything I bet you got a better experience at the local firm than you would have done on a first year scheme where you might not have even done any actual work (just simulations and exercises).
They are unlikely to be carried over if more than 12 months has passed. If it’s within the same 12 months, then possibly, but many firms say you can only apply once in such a period anyway.
Being unsuccessful for a previous programme does not necessarily equate to being unsuccessful again. I...

September’s slots will be added at the start of the month.
You don’t have to have experience with the firm - most applicants won’t have anyway meaningful interaction anyway.
Research will help focus your answers. It’s also important to be self-reflective - try to work out what is important to you, whether it’s the type of work, cultural aspects, ways...
