You don’t need the “during my vacation scheme” part in either option. The vacation scheme will be in the heading, and so such phrasing is just superfluous. If you are determined to do the masters, then I would go for that and then try to apply to firms during your masters course and secure sponsorship for the SQE via a firm. If you are not doing a TC until at least 2024, then I don’t recommend doing the LPC at all. Most firms will have converted to the SQE by that point. The LPC might only be worthwhile (in my opinion) if you are expecting to start a TC in 2023.- TCLA Community Assistant

I definitely wouldn’t defer the LPC - it is bascially coming to an end where the SQE has come in and you could find it a fairly redundant qualification by 2024. What I would say is that £27k sounds like it could be the average rather than the bottom of the salary range, and therefore by asking for £30k you could be asking for the top end. LLM Grades Question
Any recruiter will consider a 67/68 on the BCL an excellent grade. There is nothing to worry about here. It isn’t a dip in academic performance - you are studying to a higher level. You are definitely not in a worse position than before you started the course.- TCLA Community Assistant

I would expect this to be the case.
