You are allowed, but having done this before in the previous cycle, I would be cautious because I found it threw me off. The temptation to glance at the piece of paper is there and it will be obvious if you're no longer focusing on the camera. I would try to avoid it as much as possible, but it...
On Reed Smith’s email acknowledging your application it says that Grad Recruitment will be in touch “after the deadline closes.”
Obviously presume everyone got this but the deadline is the 8th and some have heard already? Makes me feel a bit better about not having heard, but I also applied on...
Congratulations! When did you apply if you don’t mind me asking? Applied on the 27th and haven’t heard anything, which makes me a bit worried as they were one of my preferred firms :(
Could anyone please offer some guidance on how to approach the following question:
What specific aspects of Fieldfisher's business units/sectors align with your career goals and interests?
It's worded differently to the typical "why this firm", so am I supposed to talk about which of their...
I'm applying to Ashurst and filling in the education section, and a mandatory section in the university grades section is "letter grade". They give you space for the number obtained afterwards, but the letter can't be left blank. I'm assuming they're just expecting 1st/2:1 etc, even though...

I’m in the same boat (and believe a few others are too).
I know some have had PFOs and I’ve seen 1 acceptance off the top of my head. Just have to be patient.
Anyone still waiting to hear back from HSF for the SVS? Been a month since I completed the test and haven’t heard anything, so wondered if anyone was in the same boat?
I wouldn’t say extremely low as a lot of candidates will still be doing exactly the same. Of course, it’s beneficial to get it in as soon as possible, but I think it’s always better to submit an application than to not submit one.
Ultimately, there will be people who have been accepted onto a...
I did exactly the same. Was planning to apply to the firm but just didn’t feel my private equity knowledge was there, nor is it an overriding interest at this stage. Applications take time, energy, and effort, even more so over the Christmas/New Year period, so I’ve only applied to firms I like...
I decided to focus on only one issue as like you said, I don’t think you can really explore anymore than one in depth if you want to hit all aspects of the question.
I did a paragraph setting out the issue and why it mattered to me personally, a second explaining the issue/how it’ll impact the...
Honestly not sure as it appears very up in the air right now. They are rolling and the tests seem to have been carried out across November and December but not sure how ACs are distributed. I’d guess so but reckon we hear soon enough 🤞
I think I’ve seen 2 on here, so you’re right there, it’s definitely not loads. Probably seen 10 or so PFOs.
And thank you, think it’s just a time to be patient and keep our hopes up.
I’m in exactly the same position. Been waiting since 4 December so seeing everyone else has already received either a AC or PFO is slightly unnerving! But it’s not a PFO until it’s a PFO so just have to keep our fingers crossed!
That’s really weird, I’ve had a look now and it’s open? It definitely wasn’t yesterday as I tried to apply and there was no link.
Apologies @manifestingtrainingcontract, seems you can apply!
I felt the same way for a period. Like other than practice, practice, practice (JobTestPrep has a lot of practice WGs), there isn’t a lot more you can do.
I think they’re a test where unless you’re naturally inclined to them, you struggle regardless of the amount of practice you put in...
