Some firms do not even contact references until you start your TC whilst others will contact upon your receipt of a VS offer. I would need to look into this for you - I remember on TCLA seeing people posting images of e-mails from firms saying that they had strong applications but no AC spots left, but this was really only for 2 or 3 firms. If I work out which firms do this I will let you know!- James Carrabino
