Grad rec vs partners fighting over when to send out ACs. Who’s gna win? I think it’ll be grad rec…
I haven’t even applied to Bakers and I’m acc super invested in this entire conspiracy theory now too…
If it helps I’m scheduled to take the stage 2 test as a TI on Thurs. They sent this to me in Nov and it took them 2 months just to arrange adjustments. I imagine ACs for DTC will be late Jan tbh…
Yeah I’m in a similar situation to you. I applied for the Weil VS early Nov and received the SJT and VI on 24/11. I sat the SJT on 14/12 and did the VI with early careers on 17/12. I’ve seen people applied after me and/or who took the test after me get sent PFOs so idek what to think tbh.
They said during my VI we’d hear back early Jan so if that’s still the case, we should hear by Friday (otherwise it’ll no longer be early Jan).
They might have gotten loads of last minute apps though and esp cos of Xmas and NY, there might be some more delays in hearing back.
I think it depends on people’s backgrounds too to some extent. It’s easier to apply to less firms when on paper you’re a pretty strong candidate (all As and A*s at GCSE, AAA or above A-levels, a gained or predicted high 2:1 or first from a top RG like Oxbridge/London RG/Durham/Warwick, a bunch...
Hey guys, it’s me again lmao. It’s been another slow week so not much has changed. :(
Guess it’s time for me to post another update on this tracking thread though, so this is the latest:
Apps that were rejections:
Jones Day Winter VS post app
HSF Kramer Winter VS post test
Paul, Weiss Winter...
I’m convinced Candid/Vantage is trolling cos why did I receive a notif only for it to be yet another reminder for Travers Smith…
I’m gna assume this is intentional rage-bait from grad rec and this is them rn:
