Assuming it's a big city firm then yes they will. If its slightly smaller they still probably would reimburse long-distance train tickets (say you're travelling from Manchester for the day)
Realistically, how long should you wait before emailing the BM grad recruit and asking for a follow-up after the AC? They told most people on the direct TC AC that we would hear back last Monday.
I think realistically the PFOs for us remaining will come by Friday after they draw them up. Unless they turn out to be like NRF or HL where they just ignore you for 3 months and then tell you they don't provide feedback lol
Hi guys, I have been receiving DMs regarding a post I made in last year's VC forum, offering advice to those taking the Clyde & Co VI. I am a Future Trainee at the firm for some context. I thought it might be easier to leave my advice here for all to see.

If you’re talking about Clyde & Co just message them for one. They gave a guy on my VS an absolutely egregious 3 month extension so he could finish a VS at another firm and then decide which TC he would want to select lol. They are in great need for people and they are more likely than most to...
ok so I can’t say what to prepare for in terms of the structure. I had an interview, case study and group exercise. The case study requires zero legal knowledge as they understand they are hiring non law grads also. The group exercise is focused on you being kind and well spoken more than you...
I don’t think you can, other than possibly filling in that little box at the end with a few bullet points of other experiences you had.
just know that Clyde & Co has a blind CV process in an attempt to increase diversity (which has definitely worked in my cohort!). No one knew my previous...
If anyone is applying for the new Clyde TC 2022 application let me know! I can definitely send over some advice for the VI as a TC offer holder for the firm who passed 3 interviews with them ! I am overloaded with Clyde & Co information which will remain useless until August 2023 haha
Applying to law TCs and or VSs is the most baffling and confusing shit show I’ve ever partaken in, in my life. I’ve sort out all the guidance in the world, paid and not. I’ve drawn up applications and CVs that got solid reactions from future trainees, associates and partners alike at top UK law...
Latham Rejection for 2023 TC for anyone else wondering if Latham have gotten back to anyone yet! Marks the end of this years application season for me. Good riddance ☺️
I don’t mind at all! I got a 2:1 but averaged about a 61% with a bunch of 2:2s thrown in for good measure. I just feel these firms get so many applications that I can’t blame them for having to pick those with 65s and above over me. I’ve always been far better at interviews than memorising for...
Ashurst PFO. Despite already having a TC it still hurts haha 🥲 I think this whole cycle has shown me that despite what firms say they definitely are more likely to reject you if you have half assed grades like me. It’s no surprise every firm that gave me a shot did a blind CV application !
Well after sending off somewhere in the realm of 200+ applications over 4 years, and slowly but surely getting the hang of completing online applications/assessment centres & interviews, I finally have my dream TC at Clyde & Co. I appreciate this TCLA community more than you know and I am...
Our firm told us not to spread info about offers but it took literally 5 seconds for that to fail. People started going “anyone receive a call?” In our group chat… and then the lid was blown right off haha
