Clifford chance SPARK scheme has opened for first years and the deadline is in Feb 2022. Does this mean i should apply if I'm currently waiting to start university this September? If so, will i disadvantage myself if i apply now as i have no societies, work-experience or anything really to demonstrate core competencies or my successes.

I'd wait to apply till you've started at uni and joined societies, especially since the deadline is so far away

Agreed! Knew a few people in the year below me who applied early and regretted it.

Join societies, do some volunteering, play some sports and you will be in a much stronger position!

With that being said, the first few weeks of university are some of the best - don’t forget to enjoy it 😁

Thanks for the replies, this was my original thought. It is however very exciting that I'm now able to technically apply for something that could lead to a TC.
