I am feeling quite lost and contemplating whether I am a good fit for firms.
I have ABC A-Levels (with extenuating circumstances) and a High 2:1 (68%) from a NRG Uni. I will be graduating with a Merit LLM from a RG Uni and I'm in the process of finishing the LPC.
I am currently looking at firms that I could apply to or realistically get a TC at. It seems from my research (via firm websites, trainees LinkedIns etc), that most firms that accept NRG candidates, only accept them if they have received a 1st. The firms I am looking at are Ashurst, BCLP etc.
I feel very discouraged and feel as if I have failed. Do you have any stories of people who have achieved a 2:1 at a NRG obtaining a training contract at a good firm?
