Hey congratulations! Can I ask where you got the info that there's going to be a case study element? I got an email inviting me to the final stage too but they said it was just going to be an interview with Grad Rec....
Yeh same, I think I might have spoke to fast I was a little confused at first, when I completed the VI it said there would be a case study element but when I got the email for the final stage it said it would just be with grad recruitment. The only thing I can think of is that they use the same VI template for vacation schemes for the fast track programme and didn’t take out the part that mentioned case study.
Hi, I have also been invited to the final stage interview. Do you guys know what we should expect? Do you think it will be similar to the vac scheme interviews?
I think it will be like vacation scheme interviews, I can imagine they will ask why commercial/why Weil as motivational questions and then for commercial questions they will probably ask what our understanding of private equity is since they specialise in it. Then just general competency questions at the end.
I literally just saw someone on LinkedIn who heard back from white & case with an offer (they posted 6 hours ago) so I'm assuming we should all hear by the end of the week
Just heard back successfully from Shearman. Did the NRF WG test in March but not heard back since.
Congratulations! Just got a nice PFO from Shearman and NRF never said anything to me so I'd assume PFO as well, got final Weil interview on Friday though.
Well done on Weil! Fingers crossed for you. Not sure what's happening with NRF - did you get a test?
I actually just got the phone call from them there to tell me I’ve been successful! It is a nice interview don’t spend to long worrying about technical commercial awareness topics just know your CV well and be organic, tell them your story and try make your experiences demonstrate how you would transfer the skills you’ve learned to life as a trainee.

Just got accepted but there's a problem for me. The scheme runs in august, I'm an international student and I've already booked tickets to go back home. I won't be in the UK for those dates and now I don't know what to do. 🥲
