A2 is a combined grade of the twoRandom question for those who did AS and A2 A-levels....
Is your A2 grade a combined score with your AS grade, or is it that A2 only represents your second year results?

I'm ageing myself haha - I did my A2s in 2015 so my AS levels in 2014 fully countedHi! So A-LEVELS were changed in the year 2016/7. Previously your A-Level score would be weighted against your AS score (the weightings really depend on the subject too). In my year (2017) my first year grades did not contribute to my overall grade in A2. So while I sat formal AS exams in 2016, my overall A-LEVEL grade was based on my Year 2 results.
The transition took place between 2016 to 2020, so most essay subjects switched to the new method in the earlier years and some other subjects (e.g. maths) transitioned slightly later
Hi, was just wondering what kind of questions they asked? Have to do mine soon and anxious as VIs typically aren't my strong suit!Is this for the open day? I literally just did mine and they asked 3 questions
I’ve never done it, but it might depend entirely on the VI system being used. If it’s the kind that asks you consecutive questions with only a few seconds pause in between to read the next question then this might not be feasible on a mobile device (be it front or rear camera). You won’t be able to read the question if you are using the rear camera or it might be too small to see using the front.Hey everyone, has anyone used their phone for a Video Interview? How did it go? I think my phone has a better camera than my laptop. I want to use my phone on a tripod to avoid video quality issues.
Thanks for your reply. I decided to set up my phone as a webcam while still using my desktop.I’ve never done it, but it might depend entirely on the VI system being used. If the VI system just requires you to record video clip answers to set questions then it sounds feasible to use a mobile device. Although all the VI’s I’ve done were of the former variety.
