Does BCLP have Watson glaser type questions in its assessment?
yes, but not all the types, unfortunately the ptsd from that test blocks me to remember exactly what types, it's also a bit different than typical WG imo
ah thanks, i thought they might sooner since they are rolling? couldn't really apply to vac scheme since i work full time so stressing a bit in general haha
I submitted mine Monday last week and also haven’t heard. Has someone submitted their VI/Assessment for RS around those days and heard back?
I did mine in early May and ended up getting sent the application question stage three days later, although it may have been quicker as it was early on in the app window for them. I ended up getting high verbal medium numerical, 9719
Having said that I haven’t heard anything about an AC yet and I’m pretty sure they’re meant to be in the next couple of weeks so it’s not looking hopeful for me

i got invite to the test/VI on 11 May, submitted I believe 19 May, and got written answers last week Tuesday, just submitted them today. My scores were lower I think, all I remember is I got 9/9 from digital and 3/9 for applied intellect (tbh, this one is consistent across all of my amberjacks lol)
Hi I would not be worried yet.
the deadline was the 27 so people who applied that day will have a week to submit the test and a week after that to answer questions
so they might just be waiting to receive all the last VIs before sending a final round of written questions.
Was PFOd yesterday from W&C post associate interview... feeling disappointed as I've never made it so far and was feeling incredibly hopeful.
They have chosen their candidates for the assessment centre. Unfortunately, I believe this means everyone who hasn't heard back is PFO. Better luck next time everyone <3

I am currently looking at Slaughter and May's TC applications; I saw on previous threads that people recommended literally putting 2 sentences in your cover letter:
("Dear X,
Please find attached my Curriculum Vitae for the Slaughter and May 2020 training contract.
I look forward to the opportunity to discuss with you my application and suitability for the training contract.
Yours sincerely,....."
...and letting the CV stand by itself. However, the website states that you should explain why S&M in the Cover letter too. How should we navigate this? @Abbie Whitlock

WFW pfo, regardless I realised I might write way better if I manage my time better, so not taking it badly knowing my research and writing was subpar.
doubt it, the deadline for completing it was v shortly after which implies they are done with invites to the WG
