Hello! I've got an application to submit for hogan lovells winter vac scheme, but since its rolling, and so close to deadline (31st Oct), it is wiser to apply for summer vac instead?

I would still apply to the winter scheme if that is your preference for vacation scheme dates or you want to potentially secure a TC ahead of the summer.

In all honesty, it can be zero preparation, although I know many people who spend time reading up about the department they will be working in before they join and refreshing their memory on some of the key topics they may come across in their department. It shouldn't require a huge amount of time though - thinking on your feet is important if you want to be a lawyer.

About a day later but I applied for the Winter Scheme. Still unsure whether they do/dont review apps before they send them out.

any thoughts on my situation?: I pressed submit a milisecond before the time was up so another window came up on my screen, and then the message appeared on my screen "this form has already been completed - thank you for your time". So im not sure if my results actually got submitted, but when I click the link this same message appears. Do you have to click submit or does your results automatically go through when time is up? send help

When I applied for their direct TC last cycle, I also run out of time as I went back to double check my previous answers. I emailed Grad Rec and they told me they received my results, so it does still submit them even if you don't get to the final submit page.

Actually made a point to finish the test with ample time remaining this year to avoid a repeat of that problem.

It will be submitted based on what you have said.
