Did anyone receive an email from Eversheds saying they are still reviewing the application and will get back by next week? Don't know whether I should expect PFO.

Yes I received this too. Not holding my breath but I guess it’s not a PFO till it’s a PFO!

Somebody got an invite yesterday and now someone has got one today, maybe they will be sending the invites out until tomorrow or Friday? Although Saturday is a very tight deadline for a WG compared to other firms, in my experience anyway

If you're referring to Freshfields, they read applications before sending WG.

If it makes you feel any better, they do give a few direct TC offers every year (ie. they save them for direct applicants). So assuming the qs are the same, you can submit that

I applied on the deadline which may be why it hasn't been reviewed yet 🥲. I really like the firm so my fingers are crossed for an invite, but I'm not getting my hopes up 😭

Hey, I did the Simmons test and got the AC afterwards. The numerical stuff is pretty straight forward, Im not the best at maths either but since it isnt timed I found it relatively stress free because you have all the time you need to work stuff out using a calculator or even just mentally. Theres definitely nothing crazy in there to worry about from what I remember

I applied just before Christmas and got invited yesterday if that helps
