I have applied 5th Jan, the deadline is 15th and they are non rolling so no one is going to hear back until after then hope that helps

My friend interviewed for a VS with them on Tuesday and heard back with positive news on Thursday. Apparantly they said they would let people know by the end of the week.

Baker McKenzie are a walking L - they sent me a second WG yday and are not replying to my query - problem is that the deadline for the second WG is tmr and its a weekend.

Hey guys, has anyone ever successfully managed to convince graduate recruitment to switch a VS interview into a direct TC interview if (for example) you have already accepted an offer for another VS at the same as the firm you have an AC for?

I’ve been convinced many a time.

There is no harm in asking. The firm will have a clear idea whether they do or don’t allow this, so it won’t be negotiated as such, will just be something you need to ask whether they can or not.

I have a friend who did this, however, the firm did allow for direct TC applicants anyway (might be more tricky for a US firm with a small intake, who want to meet everyone on a VS before offering TCs).
