Is there anyone that used Forage for virtual work experience (even though it would be a certification) and mentioned this on applications? (unsuccessful and those who are progressing)

I put it in the work experience section for several firms and clarified it was a Forage program. I was asked about it in an interview and they seemed fine with it being in the work experience section so I think it should be okay as long as you clarify what it is!

I have an assessment centre with HSF for their SVS early February, still waiting on Hogan Lovells after progressing to the review stage from their WG test, still waiting on Dechert post VI and written exercise. Is anyone else still waiting on Dechert or HL?

It does depend on the firm.

Forage themselves say not to put it in the work experience section, but some firms are ok with it being so. If you have a better section to put it in, I would put it elsewhere though.

Could anyone help me with finding firms that are similar to Slaughter and May? Their multi-specialist and international approach don't seem to be too widespread and apart from the general corporate heavyweights like MC, I'm struggling to find similar firms.

Questions were focused around commercial awareness. No competency questions. It’s an easy VI if you REALLY know the firm

Also just going to jump in here and say you can’t prepare for the written exercise - I didn’t and I’ve reached AC. Just make sure you’re well awake when you sit it. Think logically, and leave a few mins at the end to proofread as presentation is also marked.

For those who have Addleshaw Goddard applications, all is not lost. They are continuing to send out voice interview invitations and there will be more than one assessment centre stage in each office in England. Just because you haven’t heard anything yet does not mean that it’s no. Be positive because you genuinely never know
