This doesn’t feel like a good sign…Please can people thumbs up if they got a Covington AC and thumbs down if they’ve not heard
lmao sameI haven't even heard about the VI, haha.
It’s my dream firm and I interviewed with them earlier this year - would be pretty disappointed to be rejected tbh. Someone said the options they got for the AC were for next Wed and Thu so I’m guessing today might be the last day for any invites…This doesn’t feel like a good sign…
Both firms do vacation schemes. CC’s is the Spark programme and for Slaughters they have winter, spring and summer programmes.Out of curiosity, does anyone know why Clifford Chance and Slaughter and May don't do vacation schemes? Like isn't it a bit presumptuous on their part to think people will want to work there for their TC without even spending a week in the firm first?
Congrats!! When did you sit your AC!?A&O Winter Vac Scheme!!! Can't believe it. Considering I got rejected to attend open days at some firms this is hugely reassuring and validating. This forum has been really helpful practically and pastorally - to all those going through it, keep going! I have been disheartened so many times and felt like I was facing an insurmountable wall but it was worth it to keep plugging.
Can you withdraw and reapply?Hi
the absolute genius that I am, I managed to apply to Davis Polk open day and spelled their name wrong EVERY TIME. I thought it was Davies, not Davis. What are the chances for an immediate rejection? 99%? I’m so stupid.
No it’s an email 😭😭😭😭😭Can you withdraw and reapply?
Still waiting post VI too. But I think they must have already sent or be sending AC invites out very soon given that the WVS starts in about a month.Has White & Case gone MIA? I've seen so many VI invites but no single AC - correct?
