DLA Piper PFO post - Video Interview. That's my fourth Video Interview rejection (second stage and beyond). How on earth do you pass them?

Pre-recorded ones or with grad rec?

Pre-recorded one. Funnily enough, the only one I've ever done with grad rec (in person) has led to me getting a vacation scheme.

So from what I heard, you need to behave like a serial killer in the pre recorded ones stare into the camera, smiling and you have to make yourself seem real enthusiastic! It’s so uncomfortable but apparently it works like a charm. I’d also recommend recording your interviews. So afterwards, you can listen back and give yourself feedback. If you’ve got a vac scheme then you’ll have no issues getting past this stage in the future, just takes a bit of practice. Best of luck!!

Exactly what you’d wear to an in person interview! I’ve opted for turtle necks or smart shirts with frills or something. Something professional but memorable (by colour or design)
