I’ve just received Hogan Lovells WG, does anybody know if there are any numerical reasoning questions on their test? It’s not specified on their website

I applied a little before midnight, so not quite on the deadline, and heard back yesterday.

Does anyone know if this is automatic or not? I don't meet their a-level requirements, so I'm hoping this means they're taking my mitigating circumstances into account and progressing me anyway.

It's not automatic. Applications are reviewed first. Hence the length of time between submission and receipt of WG invite.

It is timed. No. The prep time was 1-2 mins (I forget), beginning when you see the question, and the answer time was 2 mins.

If a firm gives candidates 5/7 days to sit the WG test, does anyone know whether grad recruitment team considers the day you sat it on?

I was told by grad recruitment that they only look at applicants’ responses to the online questions (thoroughly) if you’ve passed the Watson Glaser, and that one reason they have it is to make their lives easier with less applications to review? Unless you mean something different?

This isn't true. GR told me at an insight day that they do review before sending the WG invite.

Yeah, it’s usually to see if you meet the minimum requirements before sending you the WG

There were 5 and they were mixed in with the other types of questions and spread out through the assessment.

The turnaround is normally 10-15 working days but factoring in it was xmas/nye period I would say you can expect to hear back by the end of next week or the week after for sure (regardless of the outcome) as some people that applied close to the deadline are slowly hearing back now.

15 working days from 18th Dec is roughly 13th Jan I think.​

no - Gemma has mentioned that it usually takes up to 15 working days for a response and that would take you to Monday 13th January given the bank holidays.
