a friend of mine contacted SH for updates and they just replied saying they'll get back to vac scheme candidates by the end of this week

Ah so we'll probably hear back tomorrow then since Friday is a holiday… Idk why I'm so antsy to hear back when I don't actually want a PFO email, I want my phone to ring for a VS offer please, even if I was not their top choice, just give me a chance! Haha

not sure if anyone can really help but to anyone with experience in finding accom for vac schemes in London with a (relatively) limited budget: did anyone stay in student accommodation ? Or do people tend to go for Airbnbs etc. it’s for multiple weeks so hotels are getting extremely expensive

I found the Air B&Bs really expensive - ended up in the Premier Inn hub up by Shoreditch High Street as it offered the best ratio of price to location.

Hi @Abbie Whitlock , please can I ask for your help on a question for White and Case’s app process? It asks you to discuss a deal that they have advised on in last two years. I am going to choose an M&A deal, but do you think this needs to be one where they advised a buyer rather than a seller? I ask as one deal I am interested in is the latter rather than former.

No need to feel scared ! Anxiety does not help. Try and think of it as something to look forwards to, and at the end of the day it is. You also see if the firm is right for you too! Best of luck (I have a vac scheme too next week, you’re gonna smash it)
