I haven't done the chat based interview and received an invite for the SJT!!

Maybe they realised the chat based interview was a complete flop and they’ve decided to bin it and so now they’re gna use their amberjack to do all the filtering work for them. Baso yous were made to do that AI assessment for nothing? Idk that’s what seems to be the case with this. I do rem seeing ppl post that Mishcon were trialling the AI thing and grad rec said it at one of their open days I’d gone to.​

Same I’m thinking they may have used us to test the chat based interview and will use our responses to evaluate it, but the real filtering will be done by the SJT. So I’m guessing all or almost all of us received it lol

They were proper SELLING it saying it's to stop people from cheating. At one open day they said it's because people would do VIs and a different person would show up to assessments. Then when i went to the GROW insight day they changed the story and said this happened at a consulting firm...

Idk cos nobody knows whether every applicant received the AI test (not every applicant is here on TCLA), so what if only 25% of yous got the AI test and grad rec just decided that reviewing them all individually was simply time consuming? Lowkey makes sense cos some ppl have said they spent hours on their AI interview thing. So now there are people who either (i) didn’t receive the AI online test, (ii) received it but didn’t take it yet have been sent the SJT and/or (iii) took the AI test and have now also been sent the SJT. This would make sense but it’s all speculation tbf.​

Okay guys so I am going crazy .... I have an email from the firm saying 'Thank you for completing the Bright Apply interview as part of your Mishcon de Reya application' from a few weeks ago... SO I have done it?!?!??! I just genuinely don't remember doing it..

I'm genuinely so sorry for any confusion (pls don't kick me off tcla, this was not trolling i promise), but I actually have no memory ????? Maybe I am a lot more ahead of myself than I think???!!

So so sorry for the false alarm guys, I'm gonna go to sleep for the foreseeable next few days and catch up on sleep?

I will lowkey sound like a conspiracy theorist lol but maybe they hyped it up so that we would treat it seriously and then they could get representative results for evaluation. And then they can decide if they want to use it for shortlisting in the future or not

I’m more surprised you don’t remember doing the AI interview. I think that was the most time consuming thing this whole application season!

EDIT: on a more serious note are you sure you did it? It was so time consuming I can’t imagine not remembering completing it. It might be the deadline passed, you didn’t complete it and MDR progressed you anyway?
