Has anyone who applied to Latham spring not heard either a PFO or AC? It seems like they’re sending them out randomly🥺

Not gonna lie I know we all joke about how bad firms are at getting back to people but at a certain point it’s actually disrespectful. Like they are actually messing around with people’s lives and careers without having the decency to even give any form of transparency… anyway, small rant over! I hope they get back to you asap❤️

I completely agree. The application process is notoriously stressful and frustrating. These firms claim to know that and only add to that by pulling stunts like this. Baker McKenzie said they’d get back to me post vi in 2 weeks and it’s been almost a month. It’s so annoying.

My email said 12 Jan - 11:59pm but I did the test a few days ago! It’s worth emailing grad rec and checking with them along with sending them a screenshot of the page which shows link expired asap as proof before its actually time for it to expire

Thank you I emailed them and they replied quickly but they had to take a few hours to sort it out on their end like resetting the test link and even sending me a new test link.

If I had a quid for every time someone asks if it’s for spring or summer I’d have at least 70 quid, which isn’t a lot, but it’s a sign that people need to stop gatekeeping basic info lmao.

Honestly you just forget the basics sometimes rather than gatekeep haha

How do people keep their momentum/motivation after having done a few ACs? Even after one, I feel so drained and can't gather myself to grind for any more...

It’s written application then AC… it’s a simple but super competitive process lmao.

Grad rec said they’d received 1,500 apps for their WVS for 30-35 ACs, 15-18 VS slots and 4 TCs…:

They review apps in batches so grad rec screen apps and then there is a partner review stage…

I got this from their open day back in Nov. I’m a bit nervous to apply but I’m just gna go for it.​

Any brave soul willing to share how many numerical reasoning questions were on the reed smith test and whether they were particularly difficult 🙏🏻 i havent done maths since 2016

Based on my experience with amberjack, the maths question is mostly on percentage calculation, reading the charts (pie, bar), quote from GCSE syllabus" interpret and construct tables, charts and diagrams, including frequency tables,bar charts, pie charts and pictograms for categorical data, vertical line charts for
ungrouped discrete numerical data, tables and line graphs for time series data and
know their appropriate use".
