First time getting to the third stage, so not sure what to expect - I'd be immensely grateful for any insights.

Don't have any VI insights to trade, but will happily send application materials or experience with online tests for any of the various firms I've applied to if you drop me a message - have passed all stage 2 tests so far to my knowledge.

Hi @Jonny_12 as there is a 1,000 word limit, you're good. I understand there is some speculation as to whether that's appropriate, but there is a set limit for a reason. If the firm wanted any less, they would ask for less. Now, although you have 1,000 words, you don't have to use all of them - the trick is to be concise and succinct with your points. If you can the same thing in less words, without compromising on the analysis/detail, then do so - I'm sure it would look very favourable. Good luck!

Ibr I did the same. I always just use the word limit. It’s your chance to really sell yourself. Especially in a process which only has a cover letter and interview.

Nah I did the same. They shouldn’t advertise a 1000 word limit if they aren’t prepared to read 1000 word cover letters.

Weil AC invite!! I’m still in shock so had to take a few hours to process getting the email haha.

For those interested, I applied in early Nov and got the online test around the end of Nov.

I sat the SJT and VI around mid Dec (14-17) and scored 7566 high numerical and verbal.​

this has set the standard of how people should announce progressions. All the important info is listed so less messages like 'when did you apply?' 😂
