I know, it’s beyond me why people would do this, probably out of boredom.

(After I asked them very politely and said it’d be no issue if they refused) They said they won’t share their test scores because they signed a confidentiality agreement but the firm said in the AC invite email they were top 0.5%😂 Having interacted with their grad rec very closely for the past years, I know for a fact that RS would never share this info. Tbh no firms would share this and especially not pre AC/interview, but I can confidently say this is clearly a lie about RS.
A confidentiality agreement for an Amberjack is crazy 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Guess the whole forum is getting sued

When I asked if anyone had heard from Willkie post app in Jan a week or so ago they were also the only person who pmed me saying they had just received a vi invite...I'm starting to think it was a lie as well lol

Importantly, there’s a lesson here: until you get that PFO in your own mail box, don’t assume anything and don’t get upset if others heard back already - it’s good to prepare yourself for both good and bad news, and for research purposes on firms’ timelines, but not worth to get excited over these online announcements from other candidates

Let’s report them collectively and hopefully the admins will remove them!
I'm a bit confused by your reaction here, to be honest. There isn't any information to suggest this user is a scammer, other than not wanting to share their test scores.

Without more information, I don't think it's reasonable to come into the forum and call the user out for this.

Just to follow up on this, if any users have information, please feel free to send this to me privately and we can take any necessary actions.

But I don't think it's productive to publicly pile on to someone without more information.

I have noticed some people do this as well claiming they have ACs or reacting to posts when it makes no sense with the firms timeline and when people ask about it they make it excuses. I have no idea why people do this. The only thing I can think of is it is their goal to make others stressed and upset or nervous. Luckily this is a veryy small minority and most people on the forum are helpful and honest.

    Hi Jaysen,

Thank you for reaching out. I will send you a private message.

I posted about this user’s behaviour to warn others. Reed Smith is a firm some of us are currently very anxious to hear back from and the user tried to spread misinformation. This was the only reason for my public post, but I will remove it if you deem necessary.

    Thank you in advance.
