I think it depends on how many experiences you have but if you can I would avoid this as law firms look for your ability to show transferable skills from various experiences.

I haven’t gotten one either but in past years it was the DTC applicants who got the holding email and I also applied for the spring placement scheme so maybe that’s why we haven’t?

guys if a firm says they will contact latest friday, and I still haven't received anything from them, do I assume pfo? if they don't get back to me for another week, is it normal to contact them about it? I would assume it's not like they can lose my application, but god is it nerveracking...

Last year, Orrick sent AC invites on 28 February. They sent two rounds of WG invites this year (+ the 28th is a Saturday) so they’re probably getting back to people on Friday or from next week onwards (my bet is on the latter).
