I don’t know about Milbank, but HSFK you won’t. I got a 1st but had a 2.2 in EU law and still progressedHey all, not sure if this is the best thread for this, but for firms like HSFK and Milbank, if I have a 2:1 overall, with a first in contract, but a 2:2 in a jurisprudence-esque module, would I get auto-filtered or be affected in my application?
sorry i don't have an answer to your q but could you send a link to the application form please. i don't see it on their website yetIs there any essay question for Milbank? I’m only seeing the work history, so I’m a bit confused. I thought they would ask for a cover letter ?
Thanks !
I think it’s supposed to be both but I haven’t got anything back after the 2nd …Hi do you get a feedback report after the first Macfarlanes test or the second test? Or both?
I had the same issue here's the link: https://milbank.grad.allhires.com/app/homesorry i don't have an answer to your q but could you send a link to the application form please. i don't see it on their website yet
I can't seem to add an application from their Allhires page, probably a technical issueI had the same issue here's the link: https://milbank.grad.allhires.com/app/home
Try this link I think I sent the wrong one https://www.apply4law.com/milbank/I can't seem to add an application from their Allhires page, probably a technical issue
Thanks! Also, yes I can't see any application questions, tad bit weird, but maybe they're going the Macfarlanes route?Try this link I think I sent the wrong one https://www.apply4law.com/milbank/
They did the same last year, their online tests had questions insteadThanks! Also, yes I can't see any application questions, tad bit weird, but maybe they're going the Macfarlanes route?
For Skadden, do you know how strict they are regarding module grade requirements?Hi all! As Jaysen said, I'll be filling in Abbie's role until someone is hired permanently.
I'm a future trainee at Skadden, while also having attended some vac schemes elsewhere. Hopefully my advice will be useful. Please feel free to ask me about any of them, and of course the usual queries and questions.
I was quite active on the forum last year, albeit anonymously, so I'm excited to help out wherever I can and pass on all the goodwill.
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
P.S. if you write a question, I will react with a thumbs up emoji to note that I have seen it and will reply later. All responses should be within 24 hours, but realistically will be much sooner (can never get off my phone).
I feel like i remember them saying at the open day last year that they're moving away from a written application but include one in the tests or something like that? Thanks !
I have heard some grad rec people say they operate a strike system when they spot mistakes, if that helps?Might be a silly question but if I made a small mistake in the name of a work experience section would that create a big impact on how my overall application is weighed.
Noticed this morning and im stressing![]()
