I applied on Christmas Day and just got an interview invite this morning.

No, it was for summer vacation scheme.

Why give up hope when there is still hope? the poster that was successful applied in May and received an invite in October thats about 5 - 6 months! You applied in October and we are still in February. Dont give up hope

Just spoke to Grad Rec - there is now only space on the last scheme. Unsure about numbers etc, but a good indicator.

It’s hard to not speculate, but is it likely that Travers Smith send out all of their interview invites before their rejections, hence the waiting ?

I think that’s what most firms do to be fair.

True, but I do know that some firms send out their invites and rejections at the same time, in this case though it probably is likely.

You won't do until after the summer vacation schemes as they fill the places for the TC from that first.

This is probably a stupid question but just want to double check there are no word limits for the answers on the application form? - also wanted to ask how long of a cover letter roughly, would be suitable?
