Does anyone know the minimum score needed to pass the Ashurst online tests? I have horrific math skills / cognitive math skills (E in GCSE maths lol) and haven't needed to use any maths throughout my degrees and previous law firm experience in London. So I am certain I did quite terribly.

usually sectors=industries and services=practice areas

I would expect a sector to be an industry - e.g. oil and gas/energy or financial service or FMCG while a service to be an area of law they advise on, e.g. Corporate/M&A or Competition or IP or Real Estate...

So if Shell were merging with another company, the sector advising them would be Oil & Gas/Energy but the practice area would be Corporate/M&A

Just to confuse matters there are some services that will also be sectors like Real Estate.....

The firm's deadline for signing is next week but I'm waiting to hear back from two other firms (both will likely to take 2 weeks+ to get back)

Yes, you can ask. The firm might not be able to meet your request though.
