Almost never. I remember last year White & Case's first year scheme was on 15-16 May, I'd applied in January, and they sent me an invite on 7th May (coincidentally also my birthday). The chances do keep decreasing usually, but there's always hope!

Hogan Lovells recently sent me an AC invite people-and I applied on the deadline in case anyone wondered.
