For those people who have done HLC's first assessment and received either a rejection or the job sim, how long did they take to get back to you?

I got the job sim invite 3 days after submitting the first assessment

DLA Piper test invite finally!

Hi! Did the applications bit on your profile change to "Thank you for your interest in DLA Piper. Please complete your assessments as soon as possible." when you received your test?

The video interview questions for the open day are the same as for the vacation scheme questions. And it's a separate application so even if you don't get the open day you can still apply for the vacation scheme. If you attend an open day you don't have to do the online assessment again when you're applying for the vacation scheme

Hi guys, I have started preparing for my third application cycle this year alongside working as a paralegal full-time. Upon reflecting on my performance in the past two cycles, I feel like I need to improve my WE section and its structure/content.

Although I got quite a bit of experience during uni (part-time job, uni exec committee roles x2, volunteering x2 , legal internships x2, mini-pupillage x1, open days x8, positions of responsibility x2) I don't think I'm able to utilise it as effectively in my applications.

I noticed I progressed much more in applications that required a CV over applications applied on candid or allhires. I don't know whether this is because I used bullet points in my CV and should be sticking to that for candid and allhires etc too? but I have heard that it's not recommended to write in bullet points unless specified either. Also, I don't know whether there is such a thing as TOO many WE entries and I should perhaps be cutting it down or pooling similar roles into one entries??

I'm in a bit bit of dilemma about this so ANY tips or advice on this would be greatly appreciated!!!!
