Received a rejection from DLA today. Submitted my application on 14 December and did my WG on 28 December.

That's great news, well done! In terms of the CV you submitted, how long was yours approximately? Am I correct in understanding that there was no cover letter to submit?

On DLA's open day, they said that your CV should be no longer than 2 pages (A4). No cover letter needed

I only completed my WG earlier this week, and it is my understanding that people are still receiving invites to do the WG. So I wouldn't worry yet if you haven't heard back - it seems the early stages of the process are still happening!

Mine was 2 pages long and no cover letter!

If you check the job portal (I think it's under the tab called 'My Job Page'), there should be a line that says 'submission status' beneath your application submission

No, I know a few people got rejections late last night however. It probably means our applications have been looked at, when did you apply and complete WG? I applied 13 Dec and did WG 24 Dec

I applied on the 15th and did the WG on the 23rd I think.

Yeh that just means the last update was you sending it off.

I was in the exact situation, sending app off in mid-November and 'updated' on 7th December 2020, before receiving an AC invite last week. So just take it with a pinch of salt and don't overthink it. Best of luck!
