Which office did you apply to? I had my AC in Manchester on 31st January and received an offer the next day. Everyone who attended the AC in Manchester also heard back around the same time but they have only started holding ACs for London so that may be why. Also, check your portal regularly as...
I received an invitation to do their psychometric test last Wednesday I think and I know someone else who also got an invite. I would check the portal to see what the status says.
Do Pinsent Masons have two psychometric tests for their vac schemes? I got an invitation to do a Graduate and Managerial Assessment - Abstract this morning but have seen other threads where people have said there is a psychometric to complete during the actual interview.
Hi
Just wondering if anyone has completed Pinsent Masons' GMA-A Psychometric test before (for the summer vac scheme)? They have provided a guidance sheet but no link to a practice test or anything.
Thank you in advance!
I think the best thing to do is to get involved in the pro bono initiatives at uni or the law society etc. I was a campus ambassador for Aspiring Solicitors which was really helpful but I wish I'd gotten more involved in the volunteering schemes at uni because they look v good on your applications!
When did you submit your VI? If you go back on to the VI invitation (on Sonu), it should say that it was successfully submitted.
Yeah, I don't think I did great on the tests which is why I'm worried. A few people have had AC invites so not sure why I haven't heard back (even if its a rejection!).
Log on to the portal for AG and check the status there because I got an AC invite on Friday but never received an email (still now!). Congrats on the DLA Piper AC! I still haven't heard back from them...
DLA (for a vac scheme) also have a numerical reasoning test in addition to the verbal reasoning test which you have to do prior to submitting your application. The invitation for the numerical test gets sent straight after submission.
Sorry to hear that Alice! I also applied on the same day and have seen that some people have heard back. I'll have a look at the portal to see what it says, thank you :)
I wouldn't necessarily think its a rejection until you get an email saying so (though this is my first round of applications so not 100% sure of the process). We've applied for different locations so that may be a factor. Don't lose hope!
