The problem it’s hard to really know which firms you’re well suited to. I’ve ended up with 5 or 6 interviews so far (with one vac scheme in the bag) from firms with a common thread - elite US firms with small trainee intakes. How many firms did you apply to? To give you an idea, if I had only applied to the first 20 firms I applied to this cycle, I would have had 0 interviews! Just apply to more next cycle and work out which type of firms you’ve had the small successes with :)- JayC

It’s completely random in the US tbh. At Harvard roughly 40% of people get above a 3.8 while at Princeton you would only need a 3.4 to put you in the top 40%.
