Struggling to motivate myself just now.
What stands out about Stephenson Harwood?
Their 600 word answers are challenging.
What are people's experiences of them?
I have never passed their test. Not once in many years applying.
To date, I've passed two WGs. That plus Latham's SJT/VI in 2023.
I've only ever got non-test VSs. Also Slaughters TC didn't require them.
LinkedIn is your best bet really. They take very few trainees on. Good luck for your application though. Am also applying to Fried Frank. Happy to discuss if it helps.
Yes, only mentioned on Chambers Student. Their S&C entry suggests one side. It was very frustrating to see. Nothing else saying that elsewhere, really. Didn't use CS in my research. S&C's site is limited on details. I hope it's not a deal-breaker. They're one of my dream firms.
I submitted a two-page cover letter. This was for Sullivan & Cromwell. Cover letter length not mentioned anywhere. Only Chambers Student mentions that, FWIW. Chambers says it 'should' be single-sided. Am I now doomed with two sides?
Sullivan & Cromwell DTC opens tomorrow. It seems a backup for them. The VS seems more important honestly. So not expecting anything positive really. But they are a great firm.
This has been a rough cycle. Only one TI back in February. Having multiple VSs might be detrimental. I don’t want to do...
Noticed a big application mistake today. Put 2021 as GDL start date. I haven’t done the GDL though. But then elsewhere it says 2025. That’s for the SQE start date. Am I cooked because of this?
