I genuinely enjoy reading about nepotistic fuck ups like this because it means that for the next few years at least every other firm will tone it down for the sake of avoiding bad PR.

To add to Dheepa's point on discipline, developing routines and finding methods that work for you is a god send. I have really severe ADHD and depression so getting anything done (including things I enjoy) is a daily battle, and I've had to develop thorough routines to make sure I keep moving...
If this is for ashurst, I wouldn't link it to you. You have the whole cover letter to talk about yourself, and so you risk being a bit redundant. Try to centre the key skills you choose on commercial considerations for the firm.
If you are still being considered for a training contract at the end of the scheme, I can't see what benefit there would be in withdrawing. The format may be dissapointing, but its a means to an end.
Haven't Fieldfisher filled all their spaces for their TC already? I think someone on here said that a bit ago.

I saw your thread there. No one told you that you lacked commitment to law because of the 3 LLMs, but rather commitment to a legal career. And absolutely nothing was said about your age. I think people may have been a bit more abrasive than necessary, but you may be reading into it a bit more...
I'm curious, whats the fixation on Magic Circle firms? Is that to the exclusion of other types or firms? Is it a prestige thing? Are you just particularly attracted to their practice areas?
