I know plenty of people who have done a similar amount of assessment centres in the same period of time, but it’s ultimately up to you and what you want to prioritise. You can always withdraw from one of the other firms if this firm is a priority for you and you are concerned you won’t be able...
You can ask - it’s no issue to do that, but be prepared for them to confirm it’s their only date. There won’t be any negative consequences for asking.
You can say you have other commitments that week and so you are keen to see if there are alternative dates in the first instance. If they say...
I wouldn’t say it is common but clearly enough people do it each recruitment cycle.
Some people do frown upon it and think it is not ethical to do this. I personally don’t have an issue with it unless you have accepted multiple TC offers - to me there is no reason you need to do this and you...
Your TC or VS offers may have terms in them that you cannot proceed with the VS if you have accepted the TC offer. If you breach that, then your offer can be withdrawn as you are in breach of contract.
Some TC and VS offers do not have these terms though, and if not, there are no issues.

I am actually on leave until Wednesday so am unable to personally look into this. I will send your message to the team and ask someone to respond though.
It depends who is involved with screening. If screening is in part done by lawyers, then they will be the lawyers in the regional office you have applied to. If the screening is just done by graduate recruitment then it will be done centrally but with the graduate recruitment team being mindful...
The whole point of these video interviews is you can do them at a time that suits you. I really wouldn’t worry when you do them. Firms literally see every hour of the day/night and it really doesn’t matter in their eyes when you do them.

To ensure the safety of our...

You’ll need to check your employment contract and internal HR policies to see if you are allowed to work for another company while being employed by them. Some employers will have restrictive policies that will not allow this or that you would at least have to declare it and get approval.
Some...
I wouldn't say it is common but I have had enough people contact me about such terms in their offers to know it isn't rare. It usually is just restricting you from doing summer vacation schemes though, rather than having to withdraw from all recruitment processes.
Most leading firms will reimburse up to a capped amount - this can be as low as £50 but as high as £300.
It is not bad practice to ask at all and you should have no issues in asking.
The firm’s website are a good call- have a look at individual lawyer’s profiles as this usually lists the leading matters they have worked on.
You can also find similar information on Chambers and/or the Legal 500.
