Yes - that’s not a problem at all. It’s probably a default where the system is also used for other roles they recruit for outside of the graduate recruitment team.
I would say this is extra curricular rather than work experience then. It sounds like you have enough work experience to cover as well, and i think adding everything to work experience just because it can be the open ended section of an application risks you minimising your other work experience.
If you log into TCLA forums on a laptop you get the option to format in bullet points (however, you don't get this option if accessing TCLA via your phone):
So you get nice tidy bullet point
Lists like this which mean
They can be used really well
However, I don't think it works well when you...
General rule. If you can’t format bullet points into the application form, use prose.
Just adding • to general text boxes to try and insert bullet points rarely works as you don’t get the general indentation formatting needed for bullet points to be used well.
If you do get your QWE signed off by the firm, try to get some guidance from them as to what this means for your career at the firm - will you have a chance to go forward for a NQ role and how would that process differ from any trainees the firm currently has.

I’d suggest one of two approaches.
You could put the date of your application and then just start the description with something like “In this on-going role” or “This role is a permanent and on-going position”
Alternatively you could add a clearly distinctive future date like 01/01/24 pr...
You need to ensure your QWE will be comparable to the other candidates going forward for the NQ roles you aspire to apply for in the future.
For many paralegals, their experience will not be comparable to trainees coming through their training, and if this is the case, you will be at a...
Only if they are in work related matters. Do not try and fit other answers into other sections - it rarely works well and you can be “marked down” for it.
Aim for the first two thirds of an application window if you can, but don’t give yourself too hard a time if you can’t do that, especially for every application.
Personally I would avoid the last 72 hours though as that’s when the vast majority of people will be applying.
I want to be honest - this is complicated.
As you are qualified in another jurisdiction and now looking to take the SQE, you don’t need a training contract. As soon as you pass the SQE you will be qualified in England and Wales as foreign qualified lawyers don’t need to accumulate 2 years of...
I really don’t think you can make this distinction between the SC and MC firms broadly.
Your expectations, aspirations and motivations may make one MC firm the best long term opportunity for you, but then the second best could easily be a SC. For instance, there will be some people whose “best”...
this is a grey area….
Volunteering could be work experience or extra curricular. I tend to advise putting it in to the section you feel needs more details/variety if you are unsure - it really won’t matter which one you choose, I would just stick to one and make sure it is not repeated.

It really won’t work on this basis. The reference to anyone (whether a trainee or a partner) is much more about what you took from that conversation rather than who you spoke to.
