I think you have to take comparing pass percentages with a pinch of salt. For the LPC, you have to complete a full academic course as part of the process to sit the assessments. Haha - that is rubbish! The SRA have no involvement with training contract offers/recruitment processes after dropping out of the code of conduct in 2012 (and even then the code was always voluntary anyway). I don't think that term in the contract is enforceable.... unless you told them, there is no way they would know if you were applying to other firms. A couple of questions - is the firm sponsoring your GDL/LPC/SQE? And if so, when will one of these courses start?- TCLA Community Assistant

I wouldn’t worry too much about finding a paralegal role to improve your chances of a Tc, I would just find a role that you are interested in and works well for you.
