Definitely the latter in my opinion. Pick your most important/relevant points and focus on explaining them - why are they important to you/how will they benefit you as a trainee rather than just explaining what they are.
Sorry to hear about your current situation. You really need to do what is best for your mental health and exploring your options here is important to work out what is going to be best for you longer term.
What I will stress is that it is highly unlikely you will lose your TC just by enquiring...
To me, it depends on what stage you are at.
If you are interviewing, then update firms. If you are still only at the application stage, my personal view is not to email GR to let them know of any updates - these updates alone across thousands of applicants would keep GR busy beyond belief.
If...
I'd definitely take it up - people don't say things like that if they don't means as it as it is more hassle than it is worth in trying to manage expectations if it isn't something you will commit to.
Sorry, the different email question at the end of the post was what I was responding to.
You could ask the firm to confirm whether it was your CAPP/WG or your application that made the decision.
Applying with a different email is unlikely to work. The application system should be sophisticated enough to pick up you will be a duplicate applicant based on the other information you provide (name/address/key data like study dates).

The GDL grade is not an issue, especially if it is one of your higher grades. It would only be if it looked like you purposely missed it off that it would be a problem (which is unlikely if it was a good grade).
The LPC resit might be a bigger issue. Were you explicitly asked in the application...
Are you trying to reschedule? I would email and ask someone to call you back or try to go via the firm's switchboard and explain to them you are keen to speak to someone today.
I'd probably reference it in a light-hearted way. They can't really do anything about it, but it might make you feel a bit more comfortable during the interview that you don't have to be so self-aware of its impact on your speech.
Also agree with the desk point - I now have a very large L Shaped adjustable sit/stand desk and the combination of the space and the ability to not sit down all day is amazing. You should also speak to your employer to see what support they can give you with equipment like desks, as some...
I am speculating, but I suspect they are screening your application post all of these assessments and then a final cut is made, and that the benchmark applies to your application rather than any of the assessments you have completed.
PwC will probably be getting somewhere between 50k-100k...
