    I very much doubt it would be everyone who applies attends. If it’s an in-person event, an insight day can sometimes be more selective that vacation schemes or TCs (depending on the criteria for the programme and also when it is running).

    The university is the exam board, but if they are not aware of the circumstances, they aren’t going to be able to provide anything even if they could meet the timescales.     Yes - a good place for that kind of detail. You don't need to tell them what you did though - they know what it consists of, so just focus on 1 or 2 very brief points of what you took away from completing it.
