Hi @Jessica Booker I sent off my application for Akin Gump and I stupidly decided to read it again after I submitted it and I noticed one inconsistency in my capitalisation. In my work experience section, I wrote Baker Mckenzie with a lower case 'k' as the employer but then wrote it correctly with a capital 'k' in the details of the work experience. The rest of the app is perfect, probably one of my strongest apps ever, do you know if any firms will just reject your application if they find a mistake?
Honestly I think you'll be fine - they may not even notice it particularly if it's as minor as that!

highly unlikely something like this alone will lead to a rejection

Hi! I'm just completing my Skadden Open Day application. When I navigate to the additional questions tab this was what I saw (picture attached below). There was no word limit or anything of the sort and I was wondering how long of an answer are they expecting. Thank you!

Hi, where did you find the link for the open day please? I can only find the application for a vacation scheme?

What happens if you have multiple vac schemes that clash? Is there a system for this? Anyone have any experience? Thanks!

You just have to decline the ones you want the least.

You can ask whether you can be transferred to another scheme or a TC recruitment process, but to be fair to firms, if you are turning them down, they know that they aren’t your preference and so won’t feel like they have to go out of their way to accommodate you.

You can also ask whether you can attend part of the scheme, but if you do this, it will really need to be the first part rather than the latter for on-boarding purposes. However if a scheme is a week or less, it’s unlikely a firm will agree to that.

I am not sure whether here is the place to ask but I would appreciate any advice.
I am just struggling to calculate deadlines. I received an invitation at 9 am on the 27th of Oct and it says you have five days from tomorrow to complete the tests. I don't understand when exactly is the deadline. I thought that it could possibly be 23.59 on the 1st of November as I counted it like that: 28th (day 1), 29th (day 2), 30th (day 3), 31st (day 4), and 1st (day 5). :(:(:(

if it say 5 days from tomorrow then you have until 23,59 tonight to complete it

Has anyone heard back from the Baker McKenzie specialised open day application?
Also, has anyone done or know anything about the PwC application process, specifically the games-based assessment?
And I know many people have been asking about HL, but has anyone heard back post-WG?
