Hope both of you are well! I was just wondering if you guys have heard back from Fried Frank post-WG test? Thank you :)

Hi! I heard back quite late on Friday. I was told that my application was on hold and that they would be holding initial interviews this week. If the need arises to interview more candidates then they said they would be in contact. Given how late it was, I wouldn't be surprised if they staggered some emails and you heard back at some point today! Good luck!

Whoops put the wrong firm name down - was reading about something on my timeline and typed absent mindedly what I meant to ask about was Addleshaw Goddard

Hiya

I spoke with their grad recruitment manager a few months ago (pre-covid though) and she said that the ACs take place in August, so I don't think we'll hear until end of July/ early Aug :)

Anyone heard from. Bakers? The e-mail did say 15th July is the deadline for app correspondence, though weary considering how its the 13th!

Re Baker, applied on 20th June. Received an email saying I'd progressed to WG on 10th July. Invite to take the test this morning with it saying video interview invitations would be sent after completion by 23rd July at the latest. Best of luck.

Just got a WG invite from Bakers! (Arghh the WG is literally my biggest hurdle in the VS app cycle I previously was embroiled in, but I'm definitely going to study it hard now!)

I wanted to ask, is the WG automatic for Baker McKenzie like it is for Hogan Lovells? Or did they sift through my app first and then offered the WG test( firms like NRF , Freshfields etc).
