Moreover, the firm’s breadth of expertise would allow me the freedom to discover where I want to specialise, whilst providing certainty that I would qualify into a market-leading practice regardless of my final choice.

I am going round and round in circles on this grammar for this sentence. Can anyone else weigh in and tell me where they would put commas?

"Moreover, the firm’s breadth of expertise would allow me the freedom to discover where I want to specialise[,] whilst providing certainty that I would qualify into a market-leading practice regardless of my final choice."

I ran it through Grammarly and it recommended taking out the comma in red.

I see what you mean with regards to grammar though. You could shorten the sentence to:
"Moreover, the firm's breadth of expertise would allow me the freedom to discover where I want to specialise. Irrespective of my final choice, I know that I would quality into a market-leading practice regardless".

Hey does anyone know if Cleary Gottlieb will be holding Winter Vacation Scheme online or in person? I had applied there for the direct TC, and they emailed me saying that they would like to invite me for an assessment for the winter vacation scheme. So I am confused.

Anyone heard from PWC since the games based assessment or from BCLP post-app?
From previous years, I’m pretty sure we won’t hear from PwC until after the deadline. Also BCLP last year had a delay in sending tests to early applicants so I wouldn’t stress if you haven’t had your test yet

Does anyone know if Ashurst sends you the Zoom link just before the AC? When I booked my slot, I only got a confirmation and not a link so I'm unsure if I should email about it yet

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help clear something up for me regarding the Ashurst AC/Interview.

On their website it says that the application process is an interview with HR and an associate, then a short case study followed by an interview with two partners. However, in the email sent they only mention the HR interview and case study, before saying that successful candidates will be invited for a final round interview. Anyone know if this will be on the same day or later?

I also just got a confirmation email with no link, so you're not alone - I imagine they would either send you the link nearer the time or you would have to log into their portal perhaps

My understanding is that it will be at a later date if you are called back. I'm assuming they will review the case study and interview and then decide if they want to progress you to the final stage. I could be wrong though!
