Do firms sponsor international students needing a skilled worker visa? I am hearing that they are a bit hesitant lately... If anyone knows that would be greatly appreciated.

Got a holding email from Bristows that says the following:
“This is just a quick note to say we have had some delay in coming back to you with next steps as we have had some conflicting internal deadlines with our Partners. Not having heard back from us is not an indication either way. We hope to start first round interviews in March so will be back in touch as soon as we know more.”
Anyone in the same situation? Given that some people received first round interview invitations at the same time today I’m gonna interpret this as a waitlist

Sounds like the partners haven’t been able to review your VI/app yet, I would just take it as written. Doesn’t seem like it’s an indication of an outcome, people that have heard back might’ve had different partners reviewing theirs

Just had the worst interview ever. Really wanted the TC but I think I flopped it. Has anyone else felt in an interview that they know the words coming out of their mouth are just wrong but can't stop them?
i cant speak about bird & bird but debevoise won’t until at least one week after the last open day i believe
Has anyone heard back from Russell-Cooke? Was a last minute one but radio silence is killing me!!

It depends on which type of firms but usually they do. I have a training contract with a US firm and they will sponsor my visa!
It says on their website that they hold the interviews in March/April so I’d have thought we’d hear from them in the next few weeks
