CMS Manchester rejection post VI, a bit gutted about this one😕 I was extremely happy as all the questions I could have hoped for came up but I had to complete the VI around the time of an anniversary of an extremely traumatic personal incident and nerves for the better of me, had a very visible stress rash on me by the end of it, oh well 🫡

Related to earlier comments but anyone know if an invitation to Freshfields WG is based purely on their law assessment centre, or do they also base it on your personal statement as well?
Also, the WG for Freshfields is timed, right? 😭
On their website it says: Please note that only candidates who pass the online psychometric test will have their written applications reviewed in detail.

So, I guess it's good SJT + good application = WG invitation

If you applied to any firm requiring WG, would you say some questions were taken from practice tests (Jobtestprep etc.)? Or were they completely new?
No questions will be taken from Joptestprep as that's merely a prep course provider, so in essence Jobtestprep will try to emulate the WG's style and logic by looking at actual exams

The practice test companies effectively replicate or use questions from Watson Glaser. Watson Glaser is a copyrighted product - they will have a bank of questions (around 300 in total) they designed and then these are utilised by employers and the mock test providers. Therefore there should be a similarity in the questions presented but the questions are likely to differ between tests where come from a bank of questions.
