So my Uni allows retakes to improve grades. I’ve passed all exams on first attempt, but I’m considering retaking 2 exams in which my faculty was changed mid-semester and I feel I could’ve done better in those. Do I need to disclose these retakes considering I passed my exams in first try?

i tutor uni law and this is defo really rare so i would speak to your university about what comes up on your official transcripts if you retake the exam. even if they say if you retake the initial exam wont contribute to your overall grade (meaning only the retake will) you will want to know whether it is on your transcript when you graduate. if they dont contribute to your overall grade law firms likely wont care as well.

if they do contribute and the retake doesnt show on your transcript just the final grade it should be fine to not flag this to law firms, but i would double check with law firms grad rec when you apply.

I think people who failed stage 1 received PFOs way back in Nov/Dec already

As far as i’m aware only people who got ACs for freshfields did stage 2 in nov! inshallah for us who did it in december

It’s automatic in that all candidates receive it, but still requires manual input to be sent. I submitted my “rolling” application mid October and still haven’t received it.

i done mine in nov and still havent heard back ... some years they have taken ages to get back to people but ik last year they literally rejected within the ssame with of applications so idek what they are doing now.
